• Promoting Ureshino Tea

    Since the beginning of Covid 19 pandemic, we didn`t have many foreign visitors at our shop. We are happy that the situation is slowly changing!

    This time our visitors were writers and editors from various countries, extremly interested in the Japanese tea culture. We talked about the  history and production of Ureshino Tea.

    They enjoyed the tour of the factory and compared different tastes of steamed tamaryokucha, pan roasted kamairicha and japanese black tea in our shop.

    Freshly picked young leaves of the new season give the tea a special sweet taste.

  • Snow in Ureshino

    Snow is a rarity in this part of Japan. These days we had  low temperatures (-5.8℃)and quite some snow. Here is our tea shop in its winter outfit!

  • Start of shincha season 2019

    New season of fresh tea leaves is here again! The first auction took place in Nishikyushu Trading Centre yesterday. Soon we will have fresh tea to offer. This year the mornings and evenings are still rather cold, with quite a huge difference in temperature during the day. The fresh green colour of the leaves is simply amazing.
